Elf Cosmetics - Deceitful company!

I opened up the makeup primer. Inside the larger tube is a much smaller tube.

A minuscule amount of primer. Nowhere near the amount it says!

Now I wonder about their other products. For shame, ELF!

This happens because they use an airless pump. What that means is when you push the top to get the product out, that plastic piece in the center raises to push to the product out.

You are still getting the amount they advertise. Do people really not know how an airless pump works?

Yes. They may be putting in the liquid ounces listed on the packaging, but it is deceitful packaging.

I don't think you understand what mk is saying. This mechanism goes up as you use it.

CHARGED ME WAY MUCH MORE FOR MY ORDER THAN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO!

I recently bought a prep & hydrate balm, illuminating primer mist, shimmer highlighting powder, and blush, under the promise that I would receive a free rose glow gift for a $25+ purchase. They were supposed to charge me $27.55, however, they charged me $37.16 AND another $14.42 upon receiving my package.

I was only supposed to pay $27.55 including free shipping. I did not get free shipping at all. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. FURTHERMORE, THEIR SITE SAYS THEY OFFER NO RETURNS.

WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THIS!

Also, on my order, they didn't even write my full name, they just wrote my last name. HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO IDENTIFY MY IDENTITY AS THE CUSTOMER WHO BOUGHT THESE PRODUCTS THEN?

Absolutely ridiculous. Awfully disappointed.

I bought the face primer for hiding uneven skin tone . And it didnt work . So I'm not happy with it. I bought it at walmart. Still have the receipt. Would like to know what i actually can do. Can i get my money back or am i stuck with it ?

Never Filled Order and Flippant Attitude

I placed an order with E.L.F. After about 3 weeks of waiting, I went back and noticed that after the order confirmation (w/order number) I never received any further communication. I tried to login and it showed no orders in my record. When I contacted them they said "Thank you for your order with E.L.F Cosmetics. Unfortunately, your order has been lost in transit. We have issued a refund on your credit card and are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused." I wrote back and asked them why they didn't want to fulfill the order and they said, " We are not able to reship your product at the current time, due to increased order volume. Feel free to replace your order at your convenience." I was dumbfounded that there was a company out there that couldn't give a #@$% about selling products. I'm not sure about this "lost in transit" crap,, but they should have communicated if that happened. I guess basically they can't be bothered to actually sell products and provide customer service.

Wow, what a rip off your primer is. A small bottle inside a bottle then ANOTHER bottle. You guys are awful.

It's a pump mechanism that goes up as you use it. If you have used a lot of it, and you unscrewed the top and peered at the bottom, then the pump mechanism would be all the way at the top by then. You should watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Usu48i3Af5Ifor a clearer explanation.

Beauty squad rewards

I’m disappointed that my points were taken because I accidentally hit some button. I’m not very familiar with how to use my rewards. I had 124 points now I have 24 and I never checkout my order yet. I should be able to recover my points and start over. I feel like I got ripped off.

I’ve ordered from E.L.F for 3 years now and every time there’s an issue or I have a question their customer service is amazing! Canada post charged me $16 to receive my package and Elf took care of the charge immediately after I asked.

I selected the wrong address to ship my order, as I didn't realise how slow the shipping would be. Ok, fine I understand I can't change or cancel. So I will contact FedEx to resolve the issue. I was provided an incorrect tracking number, so incorrect, that FedEx didn't even recognise it as a number. Even the tracking system E.L.F linked me to wasn't able to track it. The rep for FedEx I talked to explicitly told me that the format does not match their system. The next problem,is that they would not fully read my emails or answer my questions when I talked with them. It's as if they couldn't care less about my concern. This was a problem from the beginning, first with the shipping,and then with the problem tracking number. It's as if they would read the first sentence and then stop. I won't ever buy any of their products again thanks to this,and will discourage others from doing so. If you must have their products, NEVER order from the website. It's slow,and customer service is awful.

I have been a frequent customer for the past couple of years, got A-list membership. However, I am not happy with their slow processing and shipping, which takes at least three business days until they ship and another 7 business days for the shipment until my order arrives at my address. I have been trying to log into my account for the past three days. They said they overhauled their web site and gave me a temporary password over the phone, which did not work either. I changed my browser, but it didn't work.

I clicked "Forgot password?" button. No emails came through either.

I was purchase a bunch of stuff but I guess they don't want my money.

Very disappointed with their customer service and website functionality.

I will probably never order from elf again. Ordered on the 1/1 and didn't get any emails about it. I emailed them 2x about it and both times got the same response (it was like some pre-written thing that they probably send to everyone who complains to get them to shut up). Immediately after the second response I got an email telling me that my order had shipped and gave me a tracking number. I tried to track it a couple days later and it said it hasn't left yet. Seriously?! I tried again today and it says that my order won't be here until the 20th which is 4 days more than the original date he gave me. It shouldn't take this long. I mean I could have gotten the same things in store a lot quicker. I never imagined I would have this much trouble with their company and shipping. I love their stuff but if they really are that disinterested in taking care of their customers, then maybe I should start buying from a different company.

I’m really fortunate that my mail lady knows me or I may have never got my order. Went to my account (I’ve had numerous things mailed to me) to check my address and make sure it was correct. And it was. Some how they changed my address ? Not sure how or why

Slowest shipping in the world

Ordered my shipment 1/5/2018 it is now 1/11/2018 and I was notified of a tracking number to get my shipment on the 19th. So... 6 days to process and 8 more to ship? Not worth it for cheap makeup.
